This is actually a piece I did in response to my theology class - so yes, there is actually a reason why she has no mouth. There's a big ol' explanation behind it (very boring), but if you would like to know, feel free to ask.

My first try at using what they call "coloured charcoal" - didn't know know it existed, honestly, because "charcoal" apparently doesn't mean "shades of black." It was done on black construction paper (I know, I know, I'm cruel to my work). The rain drops really bother me, but as a first attempt at anything other than "reality," I'm not terribly frustrated with it.

oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooh COLORED CHARCOAL!!! I really need to get some of that ! or any charcoal pencils would be nice...some talent...that's what I need! =D This is so pretty, not one of your bests but it is still freakin awesome!!!

I agree that it wasn't very well done, but it's the thought behind that made me put it up.
I am shit with colored pencils, though - for that, you look at citylove05's work. :)

I never got to hear the explaination behind this, you'll have to enlighten me someday. For now I shall sit and ponder the meaning of it.
